WHICH RISE HEIGHT IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE?

Rise height should oscillate between 17-18 cm.

IS IT BETTER TO CHOOSE A CONCRETE STAIRWAY WITH WOODEN TREADS OR A SELF-SUPPORTING, WOODEN STAIRCASE?

If you choose combining the concrete base with wood, you always have to pay twice more. It happens very often, that the concrete is not precisely poured, so the rises slightly differ on each step! In addition, the self-supporting staircase always makes the room looking more spacious then the solid, concrete stair flight.

WHAT IS THE STANDARD THICKNESS OF YOUR TREADS AND STRINGERS?

Usually we produce our treads and stringers 42 mm thick. For special orders we can increase or (more rarely) decrease it.

HOW TO KEEP MY STAIRS CLEAN BUT SAFE? CAN I MOP IT?

tairs should be wiped with a damp cloth. You should never mop it! You must not smear it with any chemicals – this can lead to serious accidents, smeared stairs looks beautifully polished, but it also becomes more slippy!

HOW HIGH SHOULD BE THE HEADROOM ABOVE THE STAIRS?

The headroom height should not be less then 200cm. If the construction conditions do not allow us to leave this free space over the staircase, we should consider buying the spiral stairs or widening the hole in our ceiling. Our sales assistants are always willing to support you with advices also in the beginning of your construction, during the designing part! Please note, that staircase is one of the most important part of your house! Your stairs must be comfortable as you are going to use it multiple times during the day!

HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT AFTER ORDERING MY STAIRS?

The lead time in our company oscillates between 4 and 7 weeks, depending on the complexity of your order as well as the number of ongoing productions.

ARE YOUR STAIRS VARNISHED AND READY?

Yes! We varnish our stairs three times. We are using only the best quality lacquers Akzo-Nobel. Before buying stairs you should always ask about the lacquers and glues the producer is using! Do not fall for lower prizes if the low quality lacquers are used, or you may get the cracking stairs!

ARE THE TREADS MADE OF PLAIN WOODEN BOARDS OR ARE THEY GLUED?

All the elements are made of glued wooden boards to guarantee the best endurance and resistance for the atmospheric conditions (changes in temperature and humidity).

ARE THE STAIRS DESIGNED BY HAND OR ON THE COMPUTER?

All the stairs are designed with the CAD software and then produced on Computerized Numerical Controls. Thanks to that technology we are able to assure you of the precission of 0.5mm!
